When Roo was nine months old I transferred from a community clinic to a community hospital setting. Over the years I was based on the ward she was a regular visitor. Attending ward parties, visiting the patients and ‘assisting’ the nurses and doctors. It is no wonder why she has thoughts of joining the NHS after school/college.
Piglet, on the other hand, was born just days before my community hospital closed its doors for the last time. Instead, she has a different vantage point of the NHS, as a patient. Her early years blighted by illness, she has seen her fair share of doctors, nurses and NHS departments. You’d be forgiven for thinking that she might have an aversion to medical teams, however, it is the opposite – she adores them.
Latching on to the empathic and caring nature of the doctors and nurses she has come across. Piglet is always ready to offer comfort, support and love to those in need. Showcasing a tender heart and loving soul to her siblings, classmates and even her toys.

Our thoughts of the Baby Annabell Hospital
As soon as Piglet saw the Baby Annabell Hospital she was very excited to open it up and start taking care of Baby Annabell as well as her other baby dolls and even her siblings. Quickly switching into the role of doctor and looking to see what was wrong and how she could offer comfort and support.
The accessories included enabled her to get going straight away, you only need to add a willing patient. So whether this a Baby Annabell doll or a teddy bear etc. I’m really liking that the bed folds up into the hospital unit and holds the accessories and even a doll when it is time to tidy up for the day. Something that Piglet is easily able to complete herself.
