Before Christmas I took Roo and Tigger to the cinema and on the way out we found an advertising stand for the new Disney Big Hero 6 movie. It wasn’t until we returned to the cinema earlier this month that we were treated to a trailer for the film and immediately Tigger was asking ‘can we watch it?‘. With the film finally being released in cinemas across the UK tomorrow we will be heading to our local cinema to watch this soon.
Big Hero 6
Big Hero 6, is an epic and heartfelt action adventure from Walt Disney Animation Studios that follows robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred.
When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion – a robot named Baymax – and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.
To celebrate Disney is offering a fun and innovative range of new toys, stationery and more. Inspired by the exciting adventure, themes and memorable characters within the film, toy and accessories are available from Disney Store as well as other high street and online retailers.
Armour up Baymax by Bandai
Tigger was kindly sent the Armour up Baymax by Bandai to get him accustomed to the main character of the Big Hero 6 movie.
Transform nurse-bot Baymax into the ultimate action hero with over 20+ pieces of clip on armour.
The Armour up Baymax offers your child the two characters in one with the classic Baymax and then adding his armour to see him transformed into Armour up Baymax. With Baymax’s front and back pieces able to be pulled forward and twisted round to enable classic Baymax or twisted upside down to attach his armour.
With over 20 pieces of armour to be added onto Baymax it can be quite fiddly and younger children may require help putting it on. Taking it off doesn’t seem to be a problem for little fingers however I would advise that you keep a zip-lock food bag near by to keep all the armour pieces together.
Available from the Disney Store and all other good toy retailers with a £24.99 RRP. Considering that this an interactive toy I feel it is worth the price and something that any Big Hero 6 fan will be asking for.
Big Hero 6 Waterfill Tumbler With Straw
Whenever we visit our local Disney Store I am always hoping to find a drinks cup that encourages Tigger to leave his sport cap type drink bottles behind. So when we received a Big Hero 6 Waterfill Tumbler With Straw I have to admit to thinking that it would Roo that would end up using it, however after a chat and explaining that it was a drinks cup that Baymax would use he tried his usual juice in it and has been happy to use it ever since.
You can power up at break time with this Big Hero 6 tumbler! The screw-top design features sides full of water, glitter and plastic shapes, along with bright wraparound artwork and an integrated straw.
The Big Hero 6 Waterfill Tumbler With Straw is available within Disney Stores and online for just £5.00, which given that Tigger refused to use a straw beforehand is worth every penny.
Disclosure: We received an Armour up Baymax by Bandai and a Big Hero 6 Waterfill Tumbler With Straw FOC for the purpose of review
