Throughout our day-to-day lives we come into contact with many different companies. We choose different companies for a variety of reasons, mainly because they fulfil the particular thing we are looking for are in need of at the time. The thing is, how often do we take a better look at a company than what we see at face value? rarely? or better still never.
Take APH those lovely people who help us find airport parking and hotels when we are about to jet off on holiday. At face value they provide a service to those looking for a secure and reasonably priced place to park their car plus maybe even stay in one of the many hotels that they offer. They provide this service day in, day out but did you know that they have been working with World Land Trust since 2005?
APH has been working with World Land Trust (WLT) to both ensure that their operations are carbon balanced, while also donating funds to help buy and protect some of the world’s most biologically important and threatened habitats. Over the years they have donated a total of £17,007 to buy land to be protected and also to balance their unavoidable carbon emissions.
