Like any parent, I’m always trying to find ways to encourage my children to brush their teeth. Last year they were lucky enough to have the Inside Out Aquafresh kits sent through. These have been great throughout the past year with the little egg timer ensuring that they are brushing for two minutes. Like everything, they have now grown bored of the egg timer etc so I’ve been looking for something new to help encourage them at brush time.
Recently I was asked to try out the Aquafresh Brush Time app to see whether this would liven up our brush time routine.
Captain Aquafresh and the Nurdles show kids a fun way to brush all parts of their teeth correctly. Catchy songs and dances get them brushing and help get them to the 2 minutes of brushing that dentists recommend. And because they’re having so much fun, before they know it, they’re done!
Children have the ability to customise the Aquafresh Brush Time app from which character they’d like on-screen, scenery and music. Each time they complete their two minutes of brushing they are able to work towards unlocking other characters, scenery and music which gives them and incentive to keep their brush time up.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
On the whole Roo and Tigger are good at brushing their teeth. As they go up to do it together I think they spur each other one, however, they can get a little distracted at times. The Aquafresh Brush Time app has helped focus them and provided them with some brush time entertainment. They take it in turns to choose whether they want Captain Aquafresh or the Nurdles who are then entertainment.
