The first place that Mr Boo and I lived in together was a small but cozy one bedroom flat. We really liked that flat and even now I wished we’d have been able to have kept it and rented it out. Being on the third floor and only one bedroom it wasn’t practical for us to start a family. So when we decided to sell and move to into a house (actually the house we are in now) we looked into storage options.
We opted for a local firm and slowly added more and more items into storage. It was only when the flat sell as quick as we had hoped that we decided to get some bits back out of storage. We contacted the firm to arrange to collect a few boxes. Upon our arrival at the warehouse we were appalled to see that our belongings were not secured away from anyone else’s belongings. Along the floor there were areas cordoned off by white tape and a name written on paper.
Needless to say we opted to remove all our belongings out of there. I really wished we’d looked at other options like http://www.loknstore.co.uk/personal-storage, instead we were native to think that a local firm would be better. Well you live and learn I suppose.

With the bedroom renovation going on at the moment I wished I’d thought about putting some bits into storage instead of living in chaos. With the help of writing posts like this I’ll be able to put big furniture into storage when we decide to renovate downstairs.
