It’s that time of the year again when parents all over the country are preparing to send our little darlings back to school. Whilst I love that schools have a uniform policy, as it a) saves on the washing b) saves the ‘I have nothing to wear’ moan every morning and finally c) they do look so cute. I do like to see a little piece of the children’s personality, whether this be their favourite character on their lunch bag, or the bright pink gym bag which just screams, I’m a little princess!
Well this year Roo will be returning to school with an extra special bag. Her very own, one of a kind, little designers backpack. A special package arrived this week containing a white backpack and all the necessary equipment to create and design a work of art.
After showing Roo the backpack and the different pens, crayons and paints, she set to work. After first choosing to draw a giant love heart on the front pocket, she decided that she would draw a picture of her house so that she wouldn’t forget what it looked like. A few birds and rainbow straps later her masterpiece was finished. A quick iron to set the design by me and time to show it off…
