Mysteries In Time, a monthly history subscription box for kids. Aimed at primary key stage 2 (age 7-11 years) children.
When it was announced that the schools would be closed for an extended period of time. The children lost many elements of their day-to-day lives from socialising with their friends, access to a qualified (and capable) teacher as well as the in-depth learning within the different subjects.
Whilst the children have adapted to being at home, with school work completed at the dining table. Along with an unqualified (and incapable) teacher, they are able to complete the tasks and activities sent from the school.
With work sent electronically and the majority of it requiring a screen, there is an element of hands-on learning that is missing to the current homeschooling activities. In school, they would be completing a wide variety of learning styles to accommodate the different ways in which children learn. What we thought of the Mysteries In Time subscription
Tigger received the Ancient Egypt Mysteries In Time bumper box, which he was so excited about as he unpacked all the items that come in the box. The bumper box includes everything that you receive in the classic box along with a craft inspired by the theme and a history-related gift.
