We seem to spend our lives rushing from one thing to the next, part and parcel of modern day lives I guess. Juggling the balls between getting up, everyone dressed, fed and bags ready to head out of the door in the morning is the first major rush of the day.
I like to think of myself as organised, or at least I once did. More recently I find myself doing everything at the last minute. From simple things like making sure that uniforms are clean, ironed and ready for the next day. To forgetting friend’s birthdays until I see birthday greetings on their Facebook page.
The latter led me to doing a last minute rush to the shops to purchase a card, gift and flowers in the vain hope that they didn’t notice that I had indeed forgotten their birthday.
I was sent this video from Visa and just had to share it with you. It highlights one old man’s plight to get all the things he needs to get to the birth of his grandchild.
Somethings in life are worth rushing for
It proves that no matter how much we rush about in our day to day life that somethings in life are worth rushing for.
What did you last rush for?
