There’s a chill in the morning air, can you feel it? Am I a little weird for being excited about autumn? Sure, summer has been stunning but there’s something rustic and heart-warming about autumn. None of the other seasons have quite got it in comparison.
I just love getting back home in the evenings, putting on the fire, some of my scented candles and snuggling on the sofa beneath a blanket.
You know what the set-up’s missing? Something to read!
I love getting stuck into a good book, but I have to be honest, I don’t always have the time. Sure, I could fit in half an hour at bedtime, but sometimes you want to dip and out of reading. Maybe an article here, and an article there. It’s why I love keeping up with blogs so much. With that in mind, the Readly newsstand app is perfect for me.
Cosy down with… Readly
Rather than forking out for paper magazines at the local shop, I can access hundreds of magazines all for just one cheap and cheerful subscription price. Seriously, it’s only £7.99. Given that most magazines cost almost that these days, it’s such a bargain.
Teamed with one of those must-have bathtub tablet holders, you’re on for a real winner with this one.
The perks don’t end there, though, so I’ve discovered. As well as being able to access all of my faves including Closer, Heat, Vogue and Psychologies, the app’s family sharing access feature means that all of us can benefit from the one subscription price. What a lifesaver.
No more missing your teen’s Empire mag issue on a Thursday morning, or the Fortnite-mad lad’s 110% Gaming release, at the tap of an app the entire family can flick through their favourite reads at a fraction of the print cost.
The fact that it’s optimised for smartphones and tablets means less printed paper, too, which is always good for the environment. A winner all around.
Readly travels with you
Not limited to in-house reading, you can download up to 500 magazines for offline reading with Readly. If you’re travelling during the autumn half-term, or you plan to get away over the Christmas break, it makes for easy and efficient downtime reading. Needless to say, the app is a hit in our house.
