Age: Pre-school
A colourful and educational book aimed at pre-schoolers. Learning the number one to ten children are introduced to a new fun and friendly monsters.
After reaching ten they are then shown the numbers 15, 20, 25 and 50. These pages encourage the children to count a particular thing about the monster on the page from stripes, spots, spikes and eyes.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Tigger really enjoyed looking and ‘reading’ the book. At two and half he is able to recognise numbers between 1 and twenty easily but was a little caught out by the number 50. He did have a good go at counting all the monsters eyes though.
Personally I loved how each page was colourful and inviting. I do think that the book is slightly more aimed at boys than girls just because of the monsters appealing more to boys.
