I’ve been quite emotional this week. A mixture of womanly hormones and missing Roo and Tigger. I’ve found myself crying at TV programmes, sobbing in the cinema and getting annoyed with myself when things don’t go to plan.
Tomorrow I make the journey back ‘up north’ to see and collect my two oldest babies. I’m so excited to see them again and start our summer of fun together.
Read
I’ve been making more of an effort to read more blogs. Going back to my roots before I started writing my own blog I would sit and read many different ones each evening. It’s lovely to catch up with the families I have followed for so long. To see their children growing up and seeing what the future holds for them.
Watched
Mr. Boo and I finally managed to have a date night this week (well late afternoon but still no children… woohoo!). After enjoying a meal together we headed to the cinema to watch The Big Sick. I’m not quite sure it was Mr. Boo’s first choice of film to see but he knew I wanted to see it. I really enjoyed it, although I sobbed like a baby through several scenes.
Heard
Mr. Boo decided to give me a blast from the past when he added Suddenly by Angry Anderson to our Spotify playlist this week. I’m sure I’m not the only one who associates the song with Scott and Charlene’s wedding on Neighbours. Although it sounded pretty fab on Gavin & Stacey too! Needless to say, this song has been in my head all week.

Made
A break in the weather last weekend meant that the garden was the focus of our attention. With the addition of a wooden playhouse, garden bench and patio set. With it all assembled, the rain started once again – so I’m kind of blaming us for all the rain this week, obviously, the weather gods do not want us out in the garden.
Wore
What is with the weather? Seriously it is supposed to be August! It has rained almost all week so I’m cheating and sharing a photo of Piglet from last week. This was taken at the FEARNE for Boots Mini Club preview event in London, we left a miserable Norwich behind and were welcomed into a sunny London. This floral print dress is from the SS17 range and I adore this print on her – plus it’s easy to wash and dry too!
Lastly
Piglet seems to be coming on leaps and bounds at the moment. From starting to say Mama last week to answering questions with yes or no, along with the corresponding nod or shake of her head. I love this stage where they are starting to interact and understand more.
