I am STRESSED… Here goes…
So I updated my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S) last week since then I cannot switch my data usage allowance on. I can access WiFi etc but not my data/roaming allowance (are you with me so far?)
I went into my local Orange store on Friday and the gentleman said that it was a common problem with the new update and that his mate ended up getting a new phone sent as they couldn’t fix it. He told me to contact Orange customer services. So Friday night I rang spoke to some unhelpful person who clearly had no idea what I was referring to, in the end he said he would call me today to see if the problem had resolved itself (obviously not).
No phone call!!! aarrrgggghhhhh!!!
I contacted Orange customer services again, his gentleman sent me a text with new internet settings, read, install, switch phone off, take battery and SIM out, reassemble, switch on and data will work (NO!)
Another call… this needs to be sent to our escalation team, they will call you in the next 5 minutes (NO!)
Another call… explained the whole thing again, second man and made no note about escalating (typical). His one sent me a different text… read, delete, switch off, take battery and SIM out, reassemble, switch on and data will work (NO!). Luckily this time I made him stay on the line, however, he is now puzzled and needs to speak to someone and will call me back just after 9pm (yeah right)
I’m going to go into the Orange store again tomorrow and get them to call them because clearly I’m not having any luck with them
Is it because I am a woman? Do they just not understand what I am on about? Come on Orange sort yourselves out!!!
