The past week has seen Roo fallen ill with a virus which made her stay away from school for two days (much to her dismay). Come Thursday evening I had started to come day with the same virus that had made Roo ill. With Roo returning to school on Friday, I headed to work feeling truly rotten but somehow managed to make it through the day.
With plans for Saturday I had an early night and hoped that I could sleep off the worst of the virus, sadly it didn’t work and come Saturday morning I felt even worse. Roo feeling much better suddenly became my nurse maid looking after me whilst I was being sick and fetching anything I needed – she is going to make a wonderful nurse/doctor one day.
Not wanting to let the children down we headed out mid morning on the train to Norwich as I had tickets to see Milkshake Live! something that had been on our calendar for some time. Whilst sitting on the train and feeling sorry for myself I looked up to see Roo and Tigger playing happily with each other before wanting to pose for photos. I am truly lucky to have these two crazy kids in my life.
