Whilst we were in the city at the weekend enjoying a visit to Build A Bear Workshop and the cinema, we managed to stumble upon the Christmas Tree trail. Having taken part in the Go Go Gorilla’s previously I knew that this would be something that Roo would love to get involved in.
Christmas Tree Trail
The Christmas Tree trail comprises of 30 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees located around Norwich, between the 17th November and 30th December. All of the trees have been decorated by Norwich schools. A chance to explore the city, find new stores that we might have visited before and gain the chance to win thousands of pounds worth of prizes too.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s Christmas Tree Trail
We noticed the Christmas Tree Trail as we came out of the Odeon cinema after watching The Nut Job (got to love Kids Club), grabbing a couple of the Christmas Tree Trail booklets we collected our first stamp and headed off back into the city to see which other stamps we could gain. Having already been in the city to Build A Bear Workshop, then over to the cinema little Tigger’s legs were starting to tire so we knew we wouldn’t manage to find them all in one day.
Making our way back into the city we managed to find one within the Hollywood Bowl, train station and Premier Inn.
Heading into the Castle Mall as I needed to renew my driving licence (a week late -oops) we didn’t manage to spot that one so headed to Norwich Castle instead. With our belly’s rumbling we decided to head to meet Mr Boo from work, first stopping n Debenhams and Marks & Spencer to get stamps from their trees.
After a spot of lunch Mr Boo had to head back to work so we decided to investigate Chapelfield, spotting their tree on our way to the Disney Store. After looking in the Disney Store little Tigger’s legs were shattered so we headed back to the car, making one last stop on the way to The Forum and a quick read of some stories in the children’s library.
We had an amazing time, although we still have 21 trees to find!
